SS16 Styling Series – Retro

News from our retail store and online shop. Aimed to bring a evolutional shopping experience within and to spread our unique interpretation of style globally

What is retro? What is modern? These are two distinctive words and styles that can be aligned to each other. Though the two seem to share little at first sight, they have regularly proved wrong and have applied across many things, from architecture, art, to fashion. As is often in the case of retro fashion, a person can play a role, embody a story, or represent an era based on what he or she chooses to wear. Unlike technology or automobile, which can be outdated and depreciated, the newer isn’t necessarily means better and more desirable. Titled “Retro”, this style series is incorporating modern looks with vintage background, and vice versa. The midcentury retro background, which effortlessly blends old-fashioned rubble and modern angle, is all about affecting the past and create a vintage style with a modern twist.
