AW18 “Own Search” Lookbook

Ne.Sense’s fall/winter 18 select look book speaks of the process of letting go and discovering the most authentic part of life and yourself.

Behind solid and dark tailored suits and ties, there’s a lurking soul peaking through with accented colours. Like a light shining through the dark, resembling the ever lasting chase of life and the burdens accompanied by it.

This season’s look book is placed in a traditional 70s style Taiwanese restaurant and features brands like Masion Margiela, 1017 ALYX 9SM, Marni, Wales Bonner, Lemaire and Martine Rose along side in-house label Necessity Sense. Also, featuring Tres Bien’s recent collaborated shades with Stussy. The location perfectly aligns a throwback like feeling with the looks, while offering a fresh perspective on men’s styling using colourful translucent glasses and elevated jewellery. The images resemble a feeling of awakening at an empty restaurant and seeing one’s true self, while redefining one self and letting go of the past to enter the promising future.

Since NE.SENSE’s establishment over four years ago, the store has become Taipei’s mature contemporary select shop destination. Shaping a distinct aesthetic with carefully selected designers and pushing the envelope forward in Taiwan’s men’s clothing realm.
